Briefly explain your job and major responsibilities:

Vice-President of Key Cargo Marine. Responsible for the operations of our Jacksonville, FL, Pennsauken, NJ, and Puerto Rico operations. Controlling the loading, offloading, transfers, and consolidations of our dry and reefers.

How long have you worked at your current job? 

2 months. Just got promoted. Before I was the VP of LTL/LCL for Aqua Gulf Xpress.

Any prior employment you’d like to share? was your major/minor/degree? 

I am currently VP of LTL Aqua Gulf Xpress. establishing high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in planning, forecasting, and budgeting approaches used by the sales/operations organization. I am also responsible for managing client accounts and assisting in the growth and development of staff as well as overall operations. Currently involved in expanding and securing new business, managing projects to meet and exceed projections, while staying involved in training personnel. I lead and strategically plan sales to meet and exceed Profitability Goals. 

Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, College for Business Administration.

How long have you been a member of the Propeller Club?

What is your favorite Propeller Club event? 

Maritime Person of the Year Robert J “Bobby” Coppedge. Love to acknowledge the amazing people we deal with and we have in our community. They make a difference.

Family/Significant Other/Pets? 

20 years of marriage. 3 kids.

What is your proudest moment/achievement? 

When we helped Hurricane Maria victims. Help over 20 municipalities directly affected by the natural disaster.

What is something unique about you that you’d like to share…hobby/hidden talent/award? 

Golfer, Man of the year by the PR Physician Association of North Fla. Maritime Person of the Year in Jax, Maritime Person of the Year Robert J “Bobby” Coppedge. Part of the board at the Clara White Mission, Board of PR Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
