Our Initiatives
At The International Propeller Club – Port of Jacksonville, our initiatives are the cornerstone of our mission to support and advocate for the maritime industry, logistics and supply chain partners, along with their related industries. From policy advocacy to community engagement, we offer a range of programs that you can be a part of.

The International Propeller Club – Port of Jacksonville supports and develops relationships with local student port programs to provide a gateway for networking opportunities and education.

We are active in our local community. Our members proudly organize charitable contributions and fundraising events to support local charities and non-profit organizations.

We offer a variety of educational programs and events within the local community and with legislators designed to enhance knowledge of the maritime industry, logistics and supply chain partners, along with their related industries.
Advocacy
Our advocacy efforts focus on key issues in our home Port of Jacksonville and beyond, including the Jones Act and the Jacksonville Harbor Deepening project. We strive to educate policymakers and the public on the critical role of waterborne commerce.
Student Ports
The Student Ports initiative is designed to nurture the next generation and to deepen the knowledge and appreciation of the American Merchant Marine. Through hands-on experiences and mentorship, we provide students with valuable insights into the industry. We currently have two Student ports, one in University of North Florida and one in Keiser University, whom we support not only financially but also invest time educating, supporting and empowering our future leaders. Community Engagement
Our members actively participate in charitable events and initiatives around Jacksonville that make a positive impact in our community. As a Club, we are proud supporters of many varied community engagement programs that benefit local organizations, such as AMIkids Jacksonville, with a rich history since 1973, has transformed its focus to empower young people through career preparation. They partner with families, equipping youth with the skills and certifications needed to thrive in today’s workforce. Lend a hand and make a difference with us.
