Club President Jim Gillen honored with Community Partner Impact Award

The President of the Propeller Club of the United States - Port of Jacksonville, Jim Gillen, was honored this week with the Community Partner Impact Award. The award was presented at the University of North Florida Transportation and Logistics Flagship Program 6th Annual Spring Banquet.For eight years, Jim has served as a board member/office of the club. The award recognizes his continued support of Student Port programs, events, case students and educational experiences, including Big Sea Day. Through his mentoring and leadership skills, he has bridged the gap from textbook to reality and all the while engaging with enthusiasm and energy.Congratulations, Jim!
