Brandon Little named Propeller Club Student Port Member of the Year

Brandon Little UNF Propeller Club Student Port Member of the YearBrandon Little is a senior at the University of North Florida with a double major in Transportation and Logistics and Business Management. He has taken advantage of many opportunities offered by the UNF Transportation & Logistics Flagship Program including representing the university at the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) Logistics & Supply Chain Management Case Competition in Spring of 2013 and IANA Academic Challenge in November 2013. Brandon has gained extensive practical experience in transportation and logistics through multiple internships. He worked at Crowley Maritime Corporation during his freshman year, at the Target Distribution Center in Lake City, Florida in the summer of 2012, and Arizona Chemical in the summer of 2013.As a student leader Brandon has been very involved with the award winning UNF Transportation & Logistics Society (TLS) serving as director, treasurer, vice president and currently as president. TLS was voted UNF’s Club of the Year for 2012-13 out of 200+ student organizations. He was chair of the “Bring the Noise” campus campaign to support the port of Jacksonville expansion efforts. Through his leadership efforts, UNF students signed 2,000 of the 15,000 petitions that were delivered to congressional representatives in Spring of 2013.Brandon is the recipient of several prestigious scholarships including the Thomas B. Crowley, Sr., David A. Stein Pathway’s to Success, and the L.L. Waters national scholarship from AST&L. He plans to graduate from the University of North Florida in May 2014 and will begin his career in a large international corporation as a management trainee.
