UNF Student Port hosts the 18th Annual Hubbard House Holiday Drive

For the past 18 years the Student Port at the University of North Florida has partnered with the Propeller Club - Port of Jacksonville to make the holidays happier for residents of the Hubbard House, a domestic violence shelter in Northeast Florida.The students collected $2,000 in toys, toiletries and gift cards. In addition to the collection of items, students purchased much needed socks, underwear, diapers, umbrellas, laundry detergent, hygiene products, and winter hats and gloves totaling $300.The Propeller Club provided a tree, lights, and decorations to brighten up the lobby for the residents.TOTE Maritime donated $500 to purchase strollers and a portable crib, which are much needed durable items. The Hubbard House Holiday Drive is a long-standing tradition that brings joy to those who give and receive.
