The USCG Captain of the Port has set modified Hurricane Condition Four in the Ports of Jacksonville and Fernandina, effective 11 a.m. today.
Given the current forecast, a modified Hurricane Condition FOUR is set in the ports of Jacksonville and Fernandina at 11:00 a.m. today. All marine interests may resume normal operations with the exception of marine traffic over 500 gross tons. All vessels over 500 gross tons shall not transit until a full evaluation of the channel has been completed and the Captain of the Port has deemed it safe to transit. At that time all restrictions will be removed and a full Hurricane Condition FOUR will be set.
