For the 14th year in a row, the Student Port at the University of North Florida and the Propeller Club of Jacksonville partnered to make the holidays happier for residents of Hubbard House, the oldest domestic violence shelter in the state of Florida.
During the fall, students and club members donated and collected items for the women and children who are living in the shelter. On Saturday, Dec. 5, students delivered the items and decorated the lobby with wreathes, poinsettias and a Christmas tree provided by the Propeller Club. View photos of the decorations and gifts.
Special thanks to Propeller Club Board Member Mike Sheklin and UNF Transportation & Logistics Flagship Associate Director Lynn Brown, as well as all participating Student Port members, for making this year’s drive one of the best!
