The emergence of LNG as an alternative fuel enables ships to comply with new cleaner emission standards and offers the port of Jacksonville a unique opportunity to develop as an LNG distribution hub as the U.S. becomes a petroleum exporter again. I’m proud to see that the excellent UNF students that are members of the UNF Transportation & Logistics Society/UNF Propeller Club are demonstrating their leadership in bringing us this important event.
